Spirit-links

There is an eternal flame that burns within the sentient, “Spirits” that bridge beyond our known existence into the next. Whether they know it or not, all beings of the realms share spirit-links that trace and connect their origins to a place forgotten…before time existed. These fading blessed and cursed lineages of the arcane have shaped dominions across the Cosmos. It is unknown how long they’ve been on Earth or how many species of them there are, but some of the earliest known arcane beings are known as the Huekin, variants of Humanoids that are becoming a rising rebellious populace with a long history and relationship to the supernatural. Among the variant of spirit-links, the ones with vast power are called Realm Reigners, wielding magic and technology to carve their own paths. Good, evil, or neutral, with power at the hands of many, major alliances were broken, civil war perpetuated, now 50% of tracked Realm Reigners have retreated into unknown domains, rebuilding their shattered empires beyond.

Throughout the ages, spirit-links have been recognized as mythological beings and creatures across Earth’s civilizations, often feared but revered. Once openly living on this planet, these beings now would appear from someplace that doesn’t exist, hidden away until necessary. Some are protected for their gifts, respected for their contributions, but the ones that are deemed dangerous and a threat…well, those are hunted for bounties, revenge, or just plain sport.

The Star Board: Connect The Cosmos

Much like King Arthur and his Round Table, Oldenpunk features its own charter of leaders, known as The Star Board. Located on Arcana (Mars), these influential leaders play crucial roles in shaping the destiny of the realms. Their decisions, often made in the high-tech conference rooms of the underground Martian city of Arcana or through interconnected classified satellites Starbridges, have far-reaching consequences.

Grand factions have come together for greater purposes. They created 5 guilds from members of factions and clans throughout the Cosmos and beyond.

Representing the pinnacle of cooperation, combining strengths for purposes that transcend individual ambitions.

Clans often band together, forming intricate networks of support and survival across the various realms.
